Clonbrusk wins Primary Care Centre Award

Clonbrusk Primary Care Centre in Athlone won the Primary Care Centre of the year 2018 award at the Irish Healthcare Centre Awards.

Anne Naughton, Primary Care Services Manager speaking at a Recognition Event in the Centre, attended by Minister Boxer Moran, Mayor Aengus O’Rourke, local councillors and representatives of local voluntary organisations said “We are delighted to receive this award as it  acknowledges the range of high quality services provided at the centre and the success achieved by the collaborative working of HSE staff, all GP practices, statutory and voluntary agencies and our local community to bring about this recognition.

“The success of any initiative is brought about by having committed, dedicated and willing staff. This also results in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for visitors and service users in which to access our services,” she added.

Mr Pat Bennett CHO congratulated  the winningteam in the Centre  and said their winning the Primary Care Centre of the Year 2018 award was testament to all their hard work.

“This award is very well deserved by each and every one of you,” he added.
